Hello there, I am a dutch lady, living in the Ionian in Greece, in a great wooden house with the sea in front and a beautiful mountain in the back, the house was built 3 years ago by inexperienced builders, they are gone now and we have a severe leaking problem when it rains. It seems we have to expand the roof but also put some heavy varnish on, and fill up the seams with something, but what stuff can we put on and where to buy it? winter is starting here now and we have heavy rains always, getting pretty desperate here the water pours down from the walls!
Hello, I would suggest you check if the window frames with the structure of the house are sealed otherwise be applied polyurethane foam tube sealant or use some semi dense that allows flexibility to the movements that occur in the structure and while preventing leakage. Maybe with some pictures would be easier to find some solution.
