While our primary source of heat is passive solar, we keep a good supply of firewood as our backup heat. I've found that using a log arch has been easiest, lowest impact way to move firewood and logs for my portable sawmill, and barely leave a scratch on land. They work well with small tractors & ATVs, but could easily be pulled by a horse or a couple of people, if not loaded to heavily. Just wondering if anyone else is using one, or what other methods of moving logs work well.
