Extra Giant S'mores?

  • Has anyone tried making s'mores out of the Extra Giant Marshmallows now available in grocery stores? These marshmallows are incredibly large, measuring over 2.25 inches in diameter, while a standard marshmallow is only about 1 inch in diameter! These colossal treats come in a 1-lb., 14-oz. bag of white mixed with pink marshmallows. When she saw the Extra Giants for the first time, my wife asked the obvious questions: "Why? Because we need a bigger, more gooey s'more?" Well, apparently the answer is "yes!"

  • That's hilarious!

We are big fans of s'mores and make all sorts of varieties. Our favorite is two chocolate chip cookies, two Andes mints and one perfectly toasted marshmallow. This one would do the job just perfectly!

  • Sounds delicious; cabin weekend here we come! Oh wait, it's only Tuesday. Well, we can still start our weekend shopping list!

  • Even more s'more ideas: We've made all of these and they are fantastic.

Graham crackers, marshmallow, peanut butter, chocolate chips

    Graham crackers, marshmallow, Nutella

Nilla wafers, peanut butter, banana slice, marshmallow

Cinnamon graham cracker, smear of caramel sauce, thinly sliced apple, marshmallow

Might be time to fire up the fire pit!

  • Why haven't I ever thought to try s'more variations? Looks like I've got to hit the grocery store and go build a fire!
