This was the first time we participated in the boat parade on Big Deep Lake in Hackensack, Minnesota. As you can see, the guys had fun celebrating the 4th of July with a little coaxing from mom to paint their faces.

This is our rescue Airedale Terrier, Brody. He just LOVES the cabin - and the forest, pond and meadow around it. He is almost completely blind now but he still knows when we pull on to the dirt road where he is going! He gets so excited we can hardly keep him in the car! He even has the cabin waffles named after him: Wild Dog Waffles!
