shish kabobs
My favorite thing to make at the cabin is shish kabobs, usually chicken marinated in teriyaki or even just hunks of steak. I soak the wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes so they won't burn so badly on the grill. Then I cut up vidalia onions and three different colors of peppers and start the assembly line. I usually grill them, turning often for about 12-15 minutes until done. Serve with a salad and warmed french bread. Delish.
