Grill Master has some tips for feeding a crowd
MattQuandt Posted: Thu, Mar 11 2010 11:38 AM Reply

FYI: In the April 2010 issue of Cabin Life, on newsstands April 6, the Grill Master shares techniques to use when cooking for a hungry herd.

One of our family's favorite things to grill in the summer is ribs. But it can be tricky to find grill space to cook more than two racks at a time. One technique for grilling a few racks at a time: Place a V-rack typically used for roasts upside down on the grill, then place the ribs in the slots.

Anyone else have tried-and-true tips for cooking or grilling for a large group of people?

I recommend a hot grill, some good seasoning and lots of beef.

Nothing better than beef and hot coals.  Looks wonderful. What are the cuts?    I'm hungry.  What do you use for a rub?  What about chicken?  Wings are my husbands specialy....he uses 'Grill Masters" for chicken, beef and fish.  Some of it doesn't have any salt at all. A great seasoning.

That was our steak dinner for my 20th annual Guys Fishing Trip last June. I'm partial to Montreal Steak Seasoning. I don't recall the cut, but they were from Sams Club.

Of course it wouldn't be a fishing trip with out a shorelunch:

Wow, looks great!!  We like to take a little portable grill, the one that takes the small green LP tanks and grill out on the pontoon.  Nothing fancy.  Just burgers,  hot dogs or brats, thow on some potatoes in foil and you have a great afternoon.  Wisonson brats...best ever.  Of course, dragging a line and a bottle of wine and we're good to go.  Love it!
